The light is a form of energy that creates sensation of sight in our eyes. But the question is how do we see the objects around us? According, to newton, light rays particles falls on a object that we are gonna see and then it gets reflected to our eyes. In our eyes there is a screen called retina on which image is formed and this inverted image is sent to brain by optical nerve.
