Answer:

the British East India company wanted to establish its monopoly by its diplomacy. It introduce heavy duties on export onIndian goods.the Britishers purchase the raw materials from Indians and then sold it to them in high prices. they introduced tax to graze animals in the forest, as in the forest there are too many valuable trees. they wanted to take its benefit by themselves only. they forced Indian peasants to cultivate opium and Indigo.during the British rule our we can say that during the rule of British East India company the farmers were not allowed to cultivate the edible crops such as wheat , rice etc.. they purchase the spices of India in low prices and then sold it to the Indians and other countries in high prices.
