Answer:

We have AE = AD and CE = BD

Adding, we get AE + CE = BD + AD

Therefore AC = AB

In triangles AEB and ADC, we have

AE = AD ( given )

AC = AB ( proved )

angle EAB = angle DAC ( common angle )

Thus, by SAS congruency triangle AEB is congruent to triangle ADC.
