imagine you are conducting a survey, about the word climate change.i find that people give short glances or a bit of attention and turn themselves away not knowing what kind of a major global that this is. during this corona virus lock down, this is the problem we can tackle and help mother nature. if we dont, the consequences we might face are grim.
firstly, lets think about if people are giving this subject the concern it deserves? it is far known that during this lock down instead of dealing with boredom, people are taking care of plants and even growing new ones. polls indicate that more than 65 % of the world population is helping mother nature. moreover, some have reduced home energy use through measures such as insulation, better energy, efficiency and appliances. this has significantly reduced an individuals carbon foot print in climate change.
on the other hand, despite the benefits, its is sad to state that human induced alterations of this neutral world is negatively effecting the earths surface and the environment. further more, study's show that this is mostly due to the fact that industrial revolution hasn't stop during the lock down.
therefore, in my opinion, through this lockdown, the amount of carbon and other harmful substances that are being released have been decreased. however it is still not enough to save the earth and mother nature.
