It results due to the climate that the different plants grow.Plants adapt with wax-covered leaves,long roots and thick fleshy stems in the desert due to very hot climate hence,helps in conserving water.In the mountainous region the trees adapt themselves to the cold climate with wax-covered leaves,branches which slopes down to the ground so that the snow can slide off
