Low temperature slows down the secretion of silk thread and resulting in large-sized cocoons. Further, it takes very longtime for spinning. Relative humidity (60–70%) induces good health, good reelability, and good-quality cocoon. When it rises above optimum level the larvae and pupae cease to death.
