Climax is rhe most intense, exciting or important point of something. In the story the Protagonist Mr. Oliver is an Anglo-Indian teacher in an English public school at Simla, Himachal Pradesh. On his way, Mr. Oliver came across the boy sitting on a rock alone in a supernatural atmosphere in the pine forest. He had no eyes, ears, nose and even eyebrows. Mr. Oliver was horrified to see that the boy had no features on his face. He rushed our of him and met the watchman and another shot of horror was waiting for him.. "Do you mean it was like this, Sahib? " At this point, the wind blew the lamp out. The story ended here touching it's climax.
