Speed = distance/time

Speed of minute hand= circumference/ no. Of seconds

= 2πr / 60 × 60= 2πr/3600

Speed of hour hand= circumference/ no.of seconds ( this is only for one rotation)

= 2πr / 3600× 12

Therefore, the ans= 2πr/3600×12 ÷ 2πr/ 3600= 3600×12/ 3600= 12.
