After finishing our work, we can close ms word application using the following steps :

1. Click on the Microsoft office button and click on close button.

Now here are two conditions :

2. If you have saved all the changes in the documents, Ms word gets closed immediately.

3. If you haven't saved the changes in your document, MS word displays a message box. If you want to save the changes you have made, click the yes button, otherwise lick the no button. Whichever button you click, MS word acts accordingly.

If you click the cancel button, MS Word doesn't close down and continues to work.
