Question :-

Discuss about the closure property of rational numbers under division.

Answer :-

Division is closed; that is, if a/b and c/d be two rational numbers such that c/d ≠ 0 then a/b ÷ c/d is also a rational number.

Example :

2/3 and 5/6 are two rationals, and 2/3 ÷ 5/6 = 2/3 × 6/5 = 4/5 is also a rational number.
