the answer is 15

Step-by-step explanation:

1.75 metre =175 cm

now the area of the cloth =lentgh×width=175×105=18375

now the area of a 35 cm handkerchief is lentgh×lentgh(because it's a square)=35×35=1225

so the combined area of the handkerchiefs will be 18375 because it is made from the 18375 square cm cloth.now the question is how many 1225 will be in the number 18375.

so we will get answer by 18375÷1225=15

Length of coloured cloth = 1.75m = 175cm

Breadth of coloured cloth = 105cm

Area of coloured cloth = length×breadth

= 175×105

= 18,375 cm²

Side of handkerchief = 35cm

Area of handkerchief = side×side

= 35× 35

= 1225 cm²

No. \: of \: handker \: chiefs \: = \frac{area \: of \: cloths \: }{area \: of \: handkerchief} \\ = \frac{18375}{1225} = 15
