these are different systems but they use the same concept and often confuse the people.

Distributed computing: use of distributed systems is to solve single large problem by distributing the tasks to computers in the distributing systems. Cloud computing: use of network hosted servers to do several tasks like storage, process and management of data.

Utility computing: use of service in which customers receive computing resources from a service provider and pay as much as he use that service. as (your electric service at home).
