Captain Amarinder Singh

Amarinder Singh took birth on 11th of March 1942. He is one of the respected Indian politicians. He is the present chief minister of Punjab and took oath in March 16, 2017. Yadavindra Singh is his father and Mohinder Kaur is his mother. His parents belonged to Phulkian dynasty. He has also served as an army officer from June 1963 to 1965 in Indo-Pakistan War. He has also written several books, namely, Lest We Forget, The Sikhs in Britain and A Ridge Too Far.

His party is Indian National Congress.

Amarindar Singh is also elected from the Patiala Assembly as president of Punjab.
