In contrast to nitrogen which forms N₂ in the gas phase with a triple bond, phosphorus forms P₄ which has 4 strained single bond. Due to its size and way it exist phosphorus don't make CP⁻.
In other words:-
Nitrogen has a small size and can form a stable triple bond with carbon atom but phosphorus due to its large size cannot form multiple bond with carbon. Hence, CN⁻ ion is known but CP⁻ ion is not known.
