What are the whole number values of a, b, c in that order:
(A) 3, 7, 7

Answer:

CN^(-) + 3H2O ----> CO2 + NO + 6H^(+) +7e

4H^(+) + 3e + NO3^(-) ----> NO + 2H2O

So we get:

3CN^(-) + 7NO3^(-) + 10H^(+) ----> 3CO2 + 10NO + 5H2O

thus : a=3 , b=7 ,c=10
