• Emergency provision Indian constitution has elabrative emergency provion to enable president to meet any extraordinary situation effectively. emergency can be declared on basis of extrnal emergency, financial emergency, internal emergency. After Indira gandhi use of internal emergency , 44th amendment replace internal emergency as a 'armed rebelion'.
• Independent bodies indian constitution provied independent bodies like legislative, executive, judical for the canter and state.
• Single Citizenship Tough the india constitution is federal and envisaged a dual polity, It provides only a single citizenship. that is indian citizenship.
• Universal Adult Franchise India was a first country who gave universal adult franchise after independence. This was a very bold and highly remarkable dicision.
