Answer:

co(nh3)6br3 is complex diamagnetic

Explanation:

Whereas Co+3 ion has six electrons in d sub shell(one lone pair and four bond pairs), as NH3 is strong field and all six electrons get paired, makes this complex diamagnetic

zoobhiashykh: plz give me ans of this question too an octahederal complex with Fe2 is diamagnetic it is inner or outer orbital complex??
bchreddy39gmailcom: The coordination number of central metal in these complexes is 6 having d2sp3 hybridisation. The complexes formed, if have inner d orbitals are called low spin complexes or inner orbital complexes and if having outer d orbitals are called high spin or outer orbital complex. The inner d orbitals are diamagnetic or less paramagnetic in nature hence, they are called low spin complexes.
Example:
Low spin complex: [Fe(CN)6]3-
High spin complex: [CoF3]3
zoobhiashykh: explain that Fe(Nh4)2 is a salt but K4Fe(CN)6 IS a complex???
