Required Answer:-

Co-ordination of voluntary movements and Maintaining the body’s balance is a function of Cerebellum

  • Cerebellum is a small part but a large lobe found in the hindbrain (back portion).
  • It is present below the occipital lobes.
  • It controls equilibrium and posture.
  • For maintaining posture, it have to balance the body which is done by coordinating with sense organs.
  • It coordinates voluntary movements.

Other parts of the brain are placed under the forebrain, midbrain and hindbrain like cerebrum, glands, lobes etc.
