CO, present in normal concentration in the air is not an air pollutant. Rather it helps to maintain the temperature on the earth required for the existence of living organism. However, due to human activity such as burning of
fossil fuels like coal, natural gas etc, the amount of CO, in the air is increasing. This results in warming of earth
surface and thus brings drastic changes in the climate.
1. Give examples of green house gases other than CO,
2. Define global warming.
3. Give two methods to reduce global warming
4. Define green house effect.
5. Write any two consequences of global warming.

Explanation:

1 other green house gasses are corbon monoxide, sulpher dioxide.

2 global warming is described as the increase in the environmental temperature due to the increasing amount of hazardous gasses.

3 global warming can be reduced by the process of Aforestation .more plant should be grown to save our environment.also use of fossil fuels should be avoided. vehicle should be servised regularly so that it doesn't release much of the smoke. nuclear tests should be avoided.

4 not sure

5 due to global warming the ozone layer is damaged which is a serious problem to mankind. wildlife is affected as the trees in the forest dry up due to thr extensive heat.
