CO2 is a gas Just as other gases CO2 doesnt has doesn't have a definite volume or shape
and just like other gases it exerts equal pressure on all sides of the wall of container

We can liquefy CO2 gas by compressing it and cooling down the temperature
CO2 is compressed above 60 psi and the temperature is about 88degree Fahrenheit

And it is called as dry ice because just as ice it is also used for cooling purposes and also for storing and when it solidifes it becomes like an ice hence it is called as dry ice

Hope this helped u :-)
