hi mate, this is your answer
CO2 is harmful and considered as a pollutant as Higher concentration of CO2 is one of the causes of greenhouse effect and global warming as it absorbs the infrared radiations thus increasing the temperature of Earth. This leads to many environmental problems. Moreover, for photosynthesis only small amount of carbon dioxide is required. if the amount of carbon dioxide will increase it can harm the plants tooo as it restrict plants ability to absorb nutrients. The rapidly rising levels of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere affect plants' absorption of nitrogen, which is the nutrient that restricts crop growth in most terrestrial ecosystems.
I HOPE SO THAT IT WILL HELP YOU.
