CO2 is non polar since, it's sharing/bond of electrons with oxygen's does not leave a lone pair (which means all pairs are participating in the bond) whereas in Water(H20), the Oxygen atom has 2 lone pairs of electrons and Sulphur Dioxide has 1 lone pair of electrons making it non polar.
