In complex [Co (NH3)6]3+the type of hybridization is d2sp3 let us explain it, Co is in +3oxidation state with the configuration 3d6. In the presence of NH3 a strong ligand, the 3d electrons pair up leaving two d-orbitals empty. Hence, the hybridization is d2sp3 forming an inner orbital octahedral comlpex.

Explanation:

Electronegativity, symbol χ, is a chemical property that describes the tendency of an atom to attract a shared pair of electrons towards itself. An atom's electronegativity is affected by both its atomic number and the distance at which its valence electrons reside from the charged nucleus
