Coal is a mineral which has many purposes in real life. This mineral is formed over 300 years ago when the earth was filled with swamps.

Later on, plants starred dying and all the remains sank down to the bottom of the earth. From all those only came up this material called peat.

Peat is the mother of the mineral coal. So coal is a mineral form of peat.
