Answer:

Coalition government is formed when two or various political parties join and form an alliance . We know that there are a number of thousand political parties in India , including state and local political parties . Now , to gain votes , these parties try to persuade people about their policies from which they can be benifited , so they try to implement and represent various communities to gain their votes . Now , due to such a large ethnic division and diverse geography and population of India , Not even two or three parties are able to handle the country system and administration , etc. , moreover , none of the major national parties could get majority of votes in the house , so these different national parties which represent different communities and various regional parties which represents their different and unique regions and community got a chance to form alliance , hence giving rise to a large representation of various ethnic communities on different basis ( like linguistic , religion , etc ) , thus , the political system of coalition govt. gave chances and opportunities to represent and bring various issues of various communities , thus making our democratic system even more powerful :)
