Coded entries which gain access to a computer system are called Passwords.

Explanation:

Passwords are encrypted codes which allow access to computer system. If a person is working in a firm, the password is allotted to him whom he or she has to change after first log in process.

On hand if it is for personal use such as email, in this case users has to define his own password.
