Answer:

The answer is 3 m/s².

Explanation:

When the body is at rest the friction is static that is 0.7

We know that

m = mass

g = acceleration

So to move body we require a force of 0.7 mg

When it starts moving then dynamic friction will act.

So-net force

(0.7 - 0.4)mg = F

We know thta

F = ma

0.3 mg = ma

0.3g = a

a = 0.3g

a = 3/10 g

We know that g = 10 m/s²

a = 3m/s²

Thus the acceleration attained by the body will be 3m/s²
