Since the ratio is 5:2 and we are selling the mixture for 1 kg,
5x+2x=1 kg
7x= 1kg
x=1/7 kg
Meaning in 1kg of mixture there is 5/7kg of coffee and 2/7 of chicory.
calculating
cost if 5/7 kg of coffee = 5/7 × 250=₹178.57
cost of 2/7 kg of chicory = 2/7 × 75 = ₹21.43
total cost of 1 kg (2/7+5/7) mixture = ₹300
profit = 300 -230 =₹70
5x+2x=1 kg
7x= 1kg
