cost of coffee per kg=250₹
cost of chicory per kg=75₹
the total cost for 7kg =(cost price)
= 250*5kg + 75*2kg
=₹1400
selling price =₹230*7kg=₹1610

(cp<sp); gain
gain =sp-cp
=₹1610-1400
=₹210
gain%=gain /cp *100
=210/1400*100
=15%

Answer:

15%

Step-by-step explanation:

Cost of cofee= ₹250 per kg

Cost of chicory= ₹75 per kg

Cost of mixture of 7 kg ( since, mixture is in the ratio 5:2 for a certain blend) =

(250*5 kg) + (75*2 kg)

=₹1250 + ₹150

=₹1400

SP= ₹230*7 kg = ₹1610

SP > CP , So (Gain= SP - CP)

Gain= 1610 - 1400

Gain= ₹210

Gain%= Gain/ CP*100

Gain%= 210/1400*100

Gain%= 15%
