Coffee machines can become blocked with “limescale”. Limescale is a calcium carbonate that is formed from the hot water in the machine and blocks the pipes. To remove the limescale from the machines, acids are used. Why is it not a good idea to use hydrochloric acid or ethanoic acid to remove the limescale from the coffee machines? (1 point)

Answer:

if we use hcl or ethanoic acid to remove the limescale in the pipes the pipes get holes due to the concentration of the acids

Explanation:

that's why we don't use hcl and ethanoic acid to clean the pipes of the cofee ☕
