A. If it's pushed in then a deflection can be observed in the galvanometer in one direction, which means that a current was induced. When it's pushed away ,the deflection can be observed in the direction opp to when it was pushed inside.
B. When it is held stationary no deflection will be observed as there is no force and hence no current is induced
