Answer- The above question is from the chapter 'Physical and Chemical Changes'.

4 basic characteristic features to prove that a chemical change has taken place are:

1. Evolution of heat and light

2. Change of colour

3. Evolution of gas

4. Change of odour

Chemical changes are usually irreversible changes while physical changes are reversible changes.

Given question: Cold milk is heated and it becomes hot. It's a reversible change. Why?

Answer: Yes, it is a reversible change because:-

1) Heating and cooling of milk is a physical change.

2) The properties of milk don't change.
