The story started with six people holding a stick of wood .The story is set on a extreme cold . The six people were of different types. The first lady observed that one of the man sitting around is black so she did not spent her log to warm him

The other man saw that one of the person around him is not of same religion so he also denied to spent his stick .

The other man observed that one of the person is poor so he was protecting his wealth from him . He thought that the poor man could snatch his money. The story end with the six persons dying not because of the cold outside but cold in their hearts
