Let Colins age be x

     Richards age be y

      Davids age be z

By given conditions,

x+y+z = 93       ------(1)

x = 9+y             -------(2)

z + 12 = y          -------(3)

Substituting (3) in (2)

x = 9+z+12

x = 21+z    ----(4)

Substituting (4) and (3) in (1)

21+z+12+z+z = 93

3z = 93 - 33

3z = 60

z = 20

x = 21+z = 21+20

x = 41

y = z+12 = 20+12

y = 32

Hence the eldest is Colins who is 41 years old

Answer:41

Let us consider age of Colin as C, David as D and Richard as R.

R+9=C(Colin is 9 years older than Richard.)

R-12=D(David is 12 years younger than Richard.)

The oldest is Colin.

D+C+R=3D+12+12+9

=3D+33=93

3D=93-33=60

D=20

R=D+12=32

C=R+9=41
