The generic medicines have the same content as the branded medicines . The same quality standards is passed by generic medicines.
• The basic difference is between the prices. The Generic medicines are cheaper than the generic medicines.  A generic medicine for fever and headache is paracetamol while crocin, metacin are brand names.The  clinical benefit which the brand medicines is also given by Generic medicines.
