These are the steps included in the extraction of honey from the honeycomb cells:
- First step is to break all the capping either manually or with the help of an automated uncapper machine.
- Once it is uncapped, place the frame in a honey extractor. Make sure, the combs are equally filled so by applying the centrifugal force, honey is taken out of the cells.
- If the extracted honey shows some impurities in it, pass it through a screen so that clean honey results.
