Lungs cancer is a disease which responsible for tobacco. Other diseases are cough, wheezing, shortness of breath, Emphysema, etc.

LUNG CANCER :
Lung cancer has been the most common type of cancer in the world for a number of decades and is the leading cause of cancer -related death in both genders worldwide.

CHRONIC OBSTRUCTIVE PULMONARY DISEASE (C O P D) :
The Global Initiative for Chronic Obstructive Lung Disease (GOLD) has defined C O P D as a progressively disabling disease characterised by airflow obstruction that interferes with normal 
breathing. Typical symptoms include increased breathlessness, a persistent phlegm based cough and frequent chest infections. 

PNEUMONIA :
Pneumonia is an inflammatory condition of the lung that can be caused by infection (from viruses, bacteria and other microorganisms), drugs and autoimmune diseases. The World 
Health Organisation estimates reveal that pneumonia is the most common infectious cause of death in the world (the third most common cause overall), accounting for almost 3.5 million deaths each year.

TUBERCULOSIS :
Tuberculosis (T B) is an infectious disease caused by the Myco bacterium tuberculosis bacteria. In 2013, 9 million people contracted T B and 1.5 million died from the disease world- wide. In 
the UK, a total of 7,892 cases of T B were recorded in 2013, an incidence of 12.3 per 100,000 residents.

ASTHMA :
Asthma is a chronic inflammatory disease that affects the airways and is characterised by respiratory symptoms such as wheeze, shortness of breath, chest tightness and cough that vary over time and in intensity, together with variable expiratory airflow limitation. 

MORBIDITY IN THE YOUNG :
Second- hand smoke is responsible for a significant proportion of deaths from asthma, lower respiratory infections, lung cancer and is chemic heart disease. Thirty- percent of all deaths from second- hand smoke occur in children, with the largest disease burden from lower respiratory infections in those younger than 5 years of age.
