A diseases affecting the respiratory system is called a respiratory disease. There are many diseases that affect our respiratory system. The two of them are explained below;

1. Asthma: Asthma is a disease that results in the swelling and narrowing of airways of lungs, leading to wheezing and coughing.

Causes: Asthma is caused by the inflammation in airways of lungs. It can be caused by inhaling the substances like dust, smoke, chemicals in the air etc.

Symptoms: The symptoms include cough, wheezing, shortness of breath etc.

2. Emphysema: is one of the most common lung diseases that makes it difficult to breathe.

Causes: It is most commonly caused by cigarette smoking.

Symptoms: Its symptoms include Cough, with or without mucus, fatigue, shortness of breath,  wheezing etc.

Asthma: Asthma is caused by the inhalation of polluted air, resulting in wheezing and coughing. It can be caused by the inhalation of polluted air.

Symptoms: Wheezing and shortness of breath.

Respiratory diseases caused by Tobacco:

Lung cancer: It is also known as Lung Carcinoma. It can be caused by the inhalation of tobacco related products. The lung tumor is formed and it continuously grow and cover all the part of lungs called metastasis it leads to the difficulty to take a breath.

Symptoms: Coughing.
