Trade reached its peak during silk Route, which allowed India to trade with China, Mongolia, and Europe. With the coming of age of exploration in Europe, led the explorer and voyagers to find new routes to gain wealth and riches. With the coming of Vasco da Gama in India led the other countries to try their luck in India to become rich. Some of the countries that came to India for trade after Portuguese were Dutch, French and British.
