Obtaining the microbes in cytology is very hard and difficult. There are many methods to do so. First of all, clear understandable language is very important between the pathologist and clinics. This can create miss management. A cytologist requires a lengthy preparation for the methods such as direct smears, cyto-centrifuge smears. And their are many factors that can effect the procedure and adequacy of the including air drying artifacts, marking acute and chronic inflammation.
Even though when you carry out the procedure with keen observation, failures can occur due to poor collection techniques, poor fixation, inflammatory changes, and cellular changes.
