Life in the planet's polar regions can be incredibly difficult. Bitterly cold winds whip across the landscape. Polar habitats are located in the very north and very south of the globe – the two pole ends of the Earth. The northern polar region is called the Arctic, and in the south the polarregion is the continent of Antarctica. Polar habitats have just two seasons – summer and winter (but even summer is normally very cold).

in polar regions only those animal who can bear cold and can live in this cold environment they only can survive and they have any special ability to protect from cold or anything which help them to live in this polar region like polar bear have thick fur and their life is also difficult but that was their home like penguin in Antarctica
