Several invaders belonging to different religions added so much to the Indian culture over the time period. From 700 to 1200 AD, India was ruled by some great rulers.  

1- king Vastsaraj and King Nagabhatta I, ruled India for years. They both belonged to Protihara dynasty.

2- King Devapala and King Dharmapala ruled India for a long time. They were from Bengal and belonged to Sena dynasty.
