From August 2011 to April 2013 he holds the record for the longest consecutive period as the world's top male recurve archer.

• An San is a South Korean archer who competes in women's recurve competitions. She won three gold medals at the 2020 Summer Olympics in  women's team, mixed team and individual events, becoming the first female archer in Olympic history to do so in a single game.
