A seismogram is a graph that gives output by a certain seismograph. It is gives record of the ground in motion at a measuring station as a function of time. Seismograms typically records the motions in three cartesian axes, with the z axis perpendicular to the Earth's surface and the x- and y- axes parallel to the surfaces as longitudinal and latitudinal axes.

seismogram generally gives record written by this particular seismograph in order to produce the ground motions produced by an earthquake, explosion.
