Spinal cord is the continuation of medulla and runs through vertebral column. The movement of limbs in the body are controlled by spinal cord through reflex actions. Also, reflex arcs are formed in the spinal cord itself and these reflex arc is a connection for detecting the signal or input and responding to it by an output acton might be completed quickly.
