USA

The world’s oldest democracy is (USA) United States Of America. It has been more than 230 years when USA got Independence. The Constitution of the United States of America was adopted in 1788 and USA provides the world's first modern democratic country. When the democratic nations are newly developed it is not necessary that all the compromises are inherited. George Washington was elected as president in 1789 and again for a second time in 1792.

BURKINA FASO

The citizens of Burkina Faso didn’t have their first free and fair elections until November of 2015. After 2015 it became a democratic country and was among the youngest democratic nations in the world. It was difficult for Burkina Faso to achieve and claim Democracy but the nation did it and became democratic.

DIFFERENCES

USA

1 It has been more than 230 of independence.  

2 It has double party system.  

3 In American democracy the Executive is both the head of    Government and the head of state.

BURKINA FASO

1      It has been just 5 years since it got independence.

2     It has multi-party system.  

3     The Prime Minister of Burkina Faso is the head of government and of a multi-party system. The President of Burkina Faso is the head of state.
