What steps have been taken by government to promote Equality :

1) Short stay homes to provide relief to women working in distress area.

2) Support to women for jobs.

3) Equal amount of wages for those men and women working in same criteria.

4) No discrimination for backward women.

5) Support to Training and Employment Program for Women (STEP) to ensure sustainable employment and income generation for marginalised and asset-less rural and urban poor women across the country. Rashtriya Mahila Kosh (RMK) to provide micro-finance services to bring about the socio-economic upliftment of poor women.
