Answer:

Volcanoes and earthquakes are two natural calamities, which causes great damage to human lives as well as well loss of property. Though they both are natural calamities, they differ in the way they occur in nature.

Volcanoes can be predicted most of the times, before the volcanic eruption, there are ashes, smokes and several kinds of natural warning. A volcanic eruption consists of hot molten lava which flows from the hilltop, downwards the settlements of human beings, and they are so hot that they simply burn out everything that comes in between its path, which includes house, vehicles, and many useful things which human cannot move fast to a safe area before the arrival of volcanoes.

Whereas earthquakes are unpredictable and may cause severe damage. A strong earthquake can even break down many buildings, and cause great damage to human life, due to its unpredictable nature, as well as a huge loss of wealth.
