Thallophyte is a plant division that comprises of the lichens, algae, fungi, bacteria and myxomycetes or the slime moulds.


Bryophyte is another plant division of non-vascular plants, comprising of liverworts, hornworts and mosses, as well as a few simple vascular plants, like protracheophytes and tracheophytes.


Pteridophyte is a large division of developed vascular plants, like the ferns, horsetails, clubmosses, spikemosses and quillworts.
