Plant body in Thallophyta is not differentiated into root; stem and leaves, there are just root, stem or leaf like structure in the bryophata whereas pteridophyta has well defined root, stem and leaf like structures.

Sex organs in thallophyta are unicellular whereas other two have multicellular sex organs. Embryo in thallophyta is not formed after fertilization whereas in bryophyta and pteridophyta embryo is formed after fertilization.

There are no tissues in thallophyta to carry food, water and minerals whereas in bryophyte the tissues are absent and finally in pteridophyta the tissues are well formed and present.
